happy valentine's day, indeed

This is my first Valentine's Day as a married lady, and I must say I'm pretty lucky ...

I woke up to this lovingly prepared breakfast: smoked salmon omelette and heart-shaped potato croquettes. Sweet, no?

well hello

This has been one crazy year: I spent the first three months on crutches (tennis injury in Mexico, just a few days after the pic above) ... then the next three in physical therapy ... a Summer full of lovely weddings ... and in two weeks, I'm getting married to the most wonderful man in the world!

All of this to say that I've been quite neglectful with my posting, but maybe that's just as well, because I haven't had much to say!

Lizzie's blog is full of inspiring women of past and present and I could (and have) spent hours taking in her thoughtful posts. I love this video of Lizzie talking about Tomboy Style—you can tell how much love she put into the project.

I absolutely adore these dresses from Sophie Theallet's Spring/Summer 2012 collection. I'm always a fan of a beautiful white dress. Don't you love the patterned fabric? I don't think you can go wrong pairing coral/red with robins egg blue. Notice the pretty heels sporting the same color combination—yes, please!
