I watched Le Nom des Gens staring Jacques Gamblin this week, and instantly fell in love with his adorable smile.

dress please
I'm digging this dress from Veronica Beard. Though part of her Fall collection, it's so light, airy and perfect for Spring. Don't you think?
You can check out other pretties from the collection on Moda Operandi.
And for those of us on a budget ...
a similar dress from Scarlet Roos which you can find on ASOS.

happy spring
Today is the first day of Spring for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere and though the clouds are rolling in and the weather has been quite chilly, there are flowers popping up everywhere! I pass the most beautiful rolling fields on my way to work, and right now they're scattered with sunny daffodils. It always makes me happy this time of year.

foxy friday
I love the smirk that Jean Dujardin always has going on. Definite fox.
Have you seen The Artist? I haven't, but am dying to!

i want ...
White lace, and lots of it!
I love wearing lace embroidery and eyelet. It makes me feel so pretty and feminine ... like Kirsten Dunst as Marie Antoinette ... just wandering through fields of wildflowers in her simple white dresses ... enough of that. But isn't lovely?
Blouse 1 is from Need Supply and Blouses 2 and 3 are from Anthropologie.

i'll trade ya
It's no secret that I love a little Downton Abbey and these cheeky trading cards are the perfect ending to season two!
The cards are designed by Dallas-based comic artist Chad Thomas, who partnered up with Vanity Fair to create the cards.
You can view all of the cards and clever forecasts for season 3 on the Vanity Fair site here.
P.S. If you haven't seen Downton Abbey, Netflix is streaming season one and, for a limited time, you can view season two on PBS.org.
