How cute is EmersonMade's new Fall lineup? I have a few of their pieces and would love to add a few more to my closet.

Super styling hounds tooth coat—I prefer the collar popped! These jeans are great too, and I really appreciate the fact that their jeans don't show any signs of awful, factory-made distressing (in really odd places, where jeans never, ever wear naturally).

This coat is based on a 1960's day coat, and you can remove the collar for two different looks. I have this skirt in mustard, but the red is lovely too. Bonus: it has pockets!

Oh, and they have a new Emerson Basics line: you can buy a bag of three tees, leggings, tanks, etc., for $38! Not bad, eh? I love the cut of the tank. Sexy, no?

dream home

I used to live in Belgium, and whenever I hear the slightest mention of it, I get really nostalgic. So, when I was looking through Architectural Digest and came across these photos of a lovely estate in the Belgian countryside, I couldn't wait to share them with you!

Isn't it beautiful? The house dates from the 17th-century and the property even has a moat!

The interior, designed by Axel Vervoordt, is so airy and light, and that tub. Wouldn't you love to take a nice relaxing bath in that tub?

The dovecote (I'd never heard of a dovecote!).

The pool area is so serene and includes a Japanese minka that was transported from Japan and reassembled on-site. It encloses a shallow pool and sunken dining area. I know—it's rad.

I love this rustic earthen-floor barn. I want to curl up on one of those couches and read all afternoon.

Cherry on the sundae: they even have an underground gallery! I'm totally ready to move in. How about you?

levi's + chez panisse

If you plan on being anywhere near Maiden Lane this Wednesday, August 24, from 12:30 – 2:00, Levi's is hosting an event to celebrate Chez Panisse's 40th anniversary. I can't make it, but thought I would share the invitation.

Levi's will also be launching a limited-edition t-shirt collection designed by Alice Waters and others, including: David Byrne, Sofia Coppola, Dave Eggers and Maira Kalman.

No need to RSVP – this is a public event and lunch will be available on a first come, first-served basis.

All proceeds benefit the Edible Schoolyard Project.

I always look forward to the cool, crisp days of Fall and to adding something (or, in this case, nine things) new to my closet ... How fun is this business card from TokandStok? TokandStock is an easy-to-assemble furniture vendor, so the fact that this card reassembles into a chair is quite appropriate. It will certainly spend more time in their customers' hands than conventional cards. Don't you think?
