I can't get enough of HBO's Boardwalk Empire. The sets are amazing, the costumes are gorgeous and the actors are fantastic!

I absolutely love Steve Buscemi—have you seen him in this Coen Brothers short from Paris je t'aime? Ah, he's awesome! He so deserves that Golden Globe.

Why are we so intrigued by organized crime? I always find it kind of romantic ... maybe it is just the spin that Hollywood puts on it ... but I'm hooked!

One of the gifts that my fiance gave me this Christmas was a Portabella Mushroom growing kit. We set it up Wednesday evening and, according to the instructions, should be harvesting our very first crop in 17-21 days! We both dream of the day we have our very own house with a lovely little garden ... so for now, we'll have to settle for our little 1' x 1' mushroom patch!
