I completely forgot that today was St. Patrick's Day ... I'm not wearing a touch of green and I just know I'm going to pay for it when I get home! People at work can't pinch you ... something to do with "harassment".

pearl bakery
We stopped by the Pearl Bakery while in Portland and walked away with two amazing treats. We tried the almond cake and a very large Parisian macaroon. The cake was delicious and filled with a small bit of vanilla custard and the pistachio apricot macaroon was heaven ... mmm.

oblation papers and press
While in Portland I had the pleasure of visiting Oblation, an old-world letterpress print shop and urban paper mill in the heart of downtown's Pearl District. The boutique specializes in custom wedding invitations, stationery, paper and so much more. I especially love their collection of pens and the rainbow of inks that go along with them. I could have stayed there for hours!
